Title:

Certain amendments announced to the Implementing Regulation for Technological Development Sites.


Certain amendments have been announced concerning the legislation for technological development sites, through the Regulation Requiring Amendments to the Implementing Regulation for

Technological Development Sites, published in the Official Gazette dated 22 February 2018. Pertaining to that;

-Definition to the project accomplishment certificate has been amended and through the same article, definitions of “project approval certificate” and “basic sciences” have been added to the aforementioned Regulation.

-The “issuance of a project approval certificate” is now included into the scope of administrating company’s duties and liabilities while the liability for “issuance of project accomplishment certificate” has been attached to additional terms through the added sub-clauses.

-Through the definition of “basic sciences” added to the first clause of the Regulation’s Article 3 and the wording of “supports for basic sciences” added to the sixth part, supports for basic sciences have been included into the Implementing Regulation while the “supports for basic sciences” are attached to certain requirements with the Article 35/A added to the Article 35 of the concerning Regulation. 

The aforementioned arrangements have been enacted as of the Regulation’s publication date.
