Amendments announced on the Regulation for Criminal Possessions.


Amendments provided below have been announced on the Regulation for Criminal Possessions (“The Regulation”) published in the Official Gazette dated 23.03.2016 through the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 17.05.2017.

The aforementioned Regulation’s third clause within Article 4 containing the expression as “Escrow officer or the clerk assigned for records are also liable for the tasks and transactions handled in the checkroom together with the manager in charge“ has been amended as follows:

  “The checkroom staff is liable for entering the information and data concerning the tasks they are handling into the records National Judiciary Informatics System accurately, completely and on time, in line with the assignment purposes; checking those entries and ensuring the correction of errors or replace defects and dealing with the other tasks and transactions within the office. Legal proceedings will be launched on the concerned in case any failings.”

The third clause within Article 26 is amended as “The checkroom staff is liable for entering the information and data concerning the tasks they are handling into the records National Judiciary Informatics System accurately, completely and on time, in line with the assignment purposes; checking those entries and ensuring the correction of errors or replace defects and dealing with the other tasks and transactions within the office. Legal proceedings will be launched on the concerned in case any failings.”

The Regulation regarding changes on the Regulation for Criminal Possessions has been enacted as of its promulgation date on 17.05.2017 and its verdicts will be executed by the Justice Minister.
