Regulation on the Amendment to the Regulation for Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data.

The Regulation on the Amendment to the Regulation for Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data has been published in the Official Gazette dated 28.04.2019 no. 30758 to be effective from its date of publication.

As a significant change, “cause of action” is now included into the definition of personal data processing inventory. “Cause of action” refers to one the personal data processing requirements listed in the Personal Data Protection Law (Articles 5,6,8 and 9) in which the relevant process fits into. Additionally, the concerning amendment is in line with the changes in the Regulation for Data Controllers Registry.
