Title: VAT rate of electricity used in housing and agricultural irrigation is reduced to 8%.
According to Presidency Decree numbered 5249 and published on Official Gazette dated March 1, 2022, VAT rate has been reduced to 8% from 18% in terms of electricity transmission made to housing and agricultural irrigation subscription groups. The new rate shall be applicable for fees to be accrued as of March 1, 2022.
