Personal Data Protection Board’s Organizational Regulation (“The Regulation”) has been enacted as of its publication in the Official Gazette dated 26.04.2018. Through the aforementioned regulation, Personal Data Protection Board’s organizational structure, duties, authorities and responsibilities of service units and working procedures and principles have been identified. Accordingly, the Board is organized in the form of departments and operates in connection with the Prime Ministry. The service units of the Board are indicated as follows and their duties are set out in the fifth section of the relevant Regulation: a) Data Management Department b) Inspection Department c) Department of Legal Affairs d) Data Security and Information Systems Department e) Department of Guidance, Research and Corporate Communications f) Human Resources and Support Services Department g) Strategy Development Department.
