Minimum wage to be applied in 2022 is determined.


At the meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission on 16 December 2021, the minimum wage to be valid in 2022 was determined. It has been announced by the President after the meeting; that the lowest figure of the minimum wage (net) will be applied as 4.250 TRY and that the income tax and stamp tax on the minimum wage will be abolished as of next year.

Considering these statements of the President and the gross minimum wage amount of 5,004.00 TRY on the website of the MoLSS; the monthly net minimum wage to be valid in 2022 has been calculated as 4,253.40 TRY, and the monthly cost of a minimum wage worker to the employer has been calculated as 5,879,70 TRY.

The commission decision has not been published in the Official Gazette as of the date of our circular.
