Implementation period for the Decision requiring reductions on VAT rate of furniture, cancelling out the SCT on domestic appliances extended until 30 September.

Through the Council of Ministers Decision no.2017/9759 published in the Official Gazette dated 3 February 2017, the announcements provided below had been made, to be applicable until 30 April 2017 (including that date):

- VAT rate on deliveries of furniture reduced to 8 % from 18 %,

- SCT rate on domestic appliances and certain electrical devices cancelled out at zero.

Through the Council of Ministers Decision no. 2017/10106 published in the Official Gazette dated 29 April 2017, the aforementioned period has been extended until 30 September 2017(including that date).
